This full day hands-on workshop is designed to help guide participants through the development and implementation a comprehensive ergonomics program. Participants are provided with a framework for building a successful ergonomics program aimed at reducing risk of injury, improving worker health and lowering associated costs. Attendees will gain insights on how to define measurable program goals and implement critical program components.  Best practices are shared throughout to help prioritize areas of concern and develop cost effective improvement strategies.

About the Instructor

Joshua Bancic, B.A., R.Kin
Joshua Bancic, B.A., R.Kin

Josh Bancic holds an honors degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. He is based in Waterloo, ON and travels throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada regularly. Josh’s consulting experience entails all aspects of ergonomic program development, including implementation of employee training and assessment programs. Using his previous clinical experience as a Kinesiologist, Josh is able to identify musculoskeletal disorder risk factors, and offer appropriate solutions. He plays an active role in conducting front line ergonomic evaluations that result in optimizing human health, comfort and performance. Josh is also an AIA and IIDA certified presenter, and has spoken at seminars and workshops across Canada.
